Celebration of World Water Day at Yenepoya (Deemed to be University).

On the occasion of World Water Day, the centre for environmental studies of Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) took initiative to provide water for birds by placing water filled birdbath in different locations of the campus to support birds for drinking, bathe and cool themselves. Birdbath is an attraction for many different species of birds to visit gardens especially during summer and drought periods. Birdbaths that provide a reliable source of water year round add to the popularity and microhabitat support. A total of five birdbaths were placed in the Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) campus on 22.03.2022. Dr. Bhagya B. Sharma, Assistant Director organized the event.
