NATIONAL DOCTORS DAY
National Doctors day was observed in Yenepoya Medical College on 13th July 2022 at 8th Floor EMD Auditorium YMCH from 02.00 pm onwards.
Dr. Prakash Saldanha, Medical Superintendent YMCH welcomed the gathering.
Dr.M.S. Moosabba, Dean, YMC, briefed about the importance of Doctors day, the contribution of Dr.B.C.Roy, Physician, Academician, Philanthropist, freedom fighter and Politician were mentioned.
Dr.Prabha Adhikari, HOD, Geriatric Medicine, stressed the need for doctors to be humane, practice with empathy and holistic approach, publish research articles and be lifelong learners. She suggested the ways to prevent burnout of professional life of doctors.
The following doctors were felicitated for their contribution to health care system.

Cultural programs by the faculty of YMCH which included dance (Solo & Group) singing songs (Solo & Group) and instrumental and vocal performance by MBBS students.
Dr. AbhayNirgude, Associate Dean, Administration proposed vote of thanks.
The program ended with National Anthem.
