NATIONAL DOCTOR’S DAY CELEBRATION ORGANIZED BY YENEPOYA DENTAL COLLEGE

To celebrate national Doctor’s Day a felicitation programme was organized at the YDC Dental Auditorium on 1st July 2022. Dr. Abhay Nirgude, Associate Dean, Yenepoya Medical College was the chief guest. The dean of Yenepoya Dental College Dr. Akhter Husain welcomed the gathering and spoke briefly on National Doctors Day and the contribution of Dr. B.C Roy to the society. Then the Chief Guest, Dr. Abhay Nirgude addressed the gathering and spoke about the role of Covid warriors namely the teaching faculty and auxiliary faculty whose selfless contribution during the pandemic and also during the distribution of vaccine was highlighted.

7 teaching and auxiliary faculty were felicitated with a certificate and a sapling for their contribution during the pandemic.

The programme came to an end with the entire gathering singing the National Anthem.
